The 19th Marbella Film Festival

The Marbella International Film Festival brings together artists and their films from all corners of the globe to display their talents to the commercial world.

The Festival is growing in stature and receives continuous worldwide accolade, recognition and support for its contribution to the arts. The 19th Marbella International Film Festival took place between 2nd – 6th October 2024.

The Festival has expanded considerably since it’s launch in 2006 and we now have additional collaboration and association with the Marbella Town Hall and Tourist Board, Marbella Film Office and the Andalucia Film Commission. During the Festival we host five glamorous evening events with many networking opportunities, culminating in the grand Gala Awards Ceremony.

Attendees come from all over the world and include filmmakers, industry professionals, exhibitors, dignitaries, celebrities and VIPs, special invited guests and the rich and famous of course! Click to read more

VENUES

We are pleased to announce that HARD ROCK MARBELLA is the new home of Marbella International Film Festival, with additional events such as the gala dinner awards ceremony being held at the Melia Banus Hotel.

The main screening venue including number of world premiers for MIFF is the Red Dog Cinema, Puerto Banus.  Red Dog Cinema Marbella is the new avant-garde multi-space in Puerto Banus, Costa del Sol, which offers attractive possibilities to held events and conferences in an unbeatable environment, exceptional location and unique microclimate.

Seven auditoriums with a varied capacity from 115 to 475 pax.,an adaptable multipurpose space of 500 sqm and a stunning Sky Garden with spectacular sea views, distributed in a total of 3,000 sqm.

We are pleased to announce that Kinépolis Marbella La Cañada will be co-screening the entries to the Marbella International Film Festival.

MY ANDALUCIA – 2024 MIFF Competition for Shorter Shorts

Marbella International Film Festival are pleased to announce that, The MIFF 2024 shorter shorts competition is dedicated to “MY ANDALUCIA”. Film makers, Youtubers, and Influencers are invited to take part in this exciting project, by submitting their shorter short films (maximum 5 minutes) to 2024 MIFF, with subject matters focused on “The life in Andalucia”. The film can cover any subject which has a relevance to the Andalucia region of Spain, such as beauty of Sierra Nevada, lifestyle in Marbella, history of Moors and beyond, Traveling and discovering Malaga, Sevilla, Granda, Cordoba, Cadiz, even Gibraltar. MIFF 2023 Award Winners Announced

A glamorous evening on Sunday 8th October 2023, attended by many stars, celebrities and dignitaries, brought the 18th edition of Marbella International Film Festival to a close. Five days of screening some outstanding works from the international cinema, industry networking events and after parties came to a close, last night, on what was without doubt the most glamourous event in the Marbella calendar.
